Valentine’s ‘Hops and Kisses’ to all and new Seasonals to Signature Range
This Valentine's Day, leading Lancashire brewer, Daniel Thwaites, is hoping to pull a pale fruity classic, bursting with 'Hops and Kisses’! This deliciously refreshing 3.8% ABV golden beer has an initial crisp bitterness which slowly transforms to leave you with a zingy, citrus aftertaste. 'Hops n Kisses' is a new addition to the Signature Range of Seasonal Ales from Daniel Thwaites, brewed using the finest Maris Otter Malt and a late addition of Cascade Hops.
Daniel Thwaites is hoping that everyone will fall in love with its other Signature Beers as it unveils its seasonal cask ale plan for the remainder of the year.
Summat Special - India Pale Beer, 4.3% ABV, arriving April
It's all in the name with this iconic amber coloured beer! 'Summat' being Lancastrian for 'something' and 'Special,' because the water from the Lancashire hills are used in the brewing process of this classic IPA with a pronounced bitterness kept in check by hoppy citrus, lemon and floral flavours.
Highwayman - Mild, 4% ABV, arriving May
Inspired by the shadowy dark characters of Lancashire-past, this ebony coloured, smoky flavoured beer with rich plummy sweetness, derived from the roasted chocolate malt aims to stand and deliver!
F.A.B. (Finest Amber Birra), Best Bitter, 4.2% ABV, arriving June/July
Brewed at the prospect of “Inghilterra” bringing the World Cup home, this FABulous addition to the Signature Range is brewed exclusively with premium grade Maris Otter barley malt and the late addition of Bramling Cross Hops - bursting with bags of malt and bitter flavours and a lasting fruity aftertaste!
Golden Wunder - Blonde Ale, 4.6% ABV, arriving October
The legendary German beer festival 'Oktoberfest' is one of the most famous events in Germany. Inspired by a blend of Germany's finest beer ingredients, coupled with over 200 years of Lancastrian brewing know-how, this pale straw-coloured premier beer with its clean, smooth taste has a distinctive continental hoppiness. Wunderbar!
Liberation - Premier Beer, 4.5% ABV, arriving November
A commemorative premium ale, brewed in support of the Royal British Legion and the millions who have served in the Armed Forces, with donations made for every glass sold. This reddish coloured beer with toffee and subtle sweetness has a smooth taste with a lingering dry bitter finish! Definitely a beer to be Remembered!
Santa's Sack - Premier Beer, 4.2% ABV, arriving December
A new addition to the Signature Range. Santa’s Sack has the warm caramel textures and rich fruit overtones you’d expect to find in a full-flavoured festive beer – a present to be unwrapped more than once perhaps?
