Since its inception in 2007, the World Beer Awards has grown to become one of the largest beer competitions in the world. Having gone from strength to strength since it began, every year the competition welcomes thousands of entries from every corner of the globe, which are judged by an international panel of experts across taste and design categories. The WBA is run by Paragraph Publishing, a company also known for its prestigious World Drinks Awards programme (of which the WBA is a constituent part) and include all major spirit categories.
