TRAINING COURSE: HOW TO WRITE A SUCCESSFUL BEER BLOG

Last year the Guild conducted a survey asking members what training they would most benefit from and, based on your responses, the Board is planning a schedule of training events and workshops for 2019.

We’re delighted to announced details of our first training course of the year below, with more to follow soon:

Writing About Beer: How to Write a Successful Beer Blog

Tutor: Pete Brown

Date: Tuesday 26th February 2019

Time: 10.30 to 3.30

Venue: The Admiralty, 66 Trafalgar Square, London, WC2N 5DS

Cost: £50 pp (lunch included)

Number of places available: 14 (max)

Description:  A masterclass covering how to create a successful blog, in addition to writing for other mediums: why you should write about beer, who for, content & subject matter, and who your audience is. This workshop is packed with useful hints and tips from one of the Guild’s most successful writers and current chair, Pete Brown.

Pete Brown is an author, journalist, blogger, public speaker and broadcaster specialising in beer, food, pubs and cider. He has been named British Beer Writer of the Year three times.

We are also planning to run the same workshop in Birmingham in April, date and venue to be announced very soon.
