How to Create a Successful Beer Podcast with Emma Inch
A podcast is a great way to get your message across, raise brand awareness, and to have fun! According to figures released last year, podcasts in the UK now reach 8.4 million listeners, up from 6 million the year before. But how do you go about starting a podcast?
This course will take you through everything you need to know from what a podcast is, to how to physically make one, and how to ensure it is successful once it’s out there. Covering the basics of equipment, content, editing and promotion, you should go away feeling much more confident to embark on making a podcast either for yourself or for an organisation.
Who is the course suitable for?
The course is suitable for anyone with an interest in putting together a podcast – either a branded podcast (for a business/organisation), or a personal project. It might also be useful for those who have already started a podcast but would like some pointers on how to take it forward. No previous experience is required.
Pre-course preparation:
If you have portable recording equipment, please bring it along with you. Also – please bring headphones/earphones if you can. Other than that, come armed with ideas, questions, and a willingness to have a go!
