What is the one thing you'd like to tell visitors to the Guild's website?

I don’t believe in good and bad pubs. I think ‘there is a pub for every person, and a person for every pub’ and my blog and it’s reviews have always been measured and tried to speak to the heart and character of a place knowing that it will appeal to someone, even if not me.

Brighton and the surrounding area is an amazing place to go out for a beer, and since 2017 I have been documenting and championing  this scene through a period that has been both tumultuous and, I believe, transitional.

What you can offer as a writer/beer lover?

Almost every pub is run by hard working and dedicated people and we should be supportive of that endeavour, avoid nit-picking, and absolutely rave about the pubs that get it bang on.

The same is true of indie breweries, whose passion and commitment to consistency and flavour is what makes beer drinking such a delight.

I hope to work with more publicans and breweries who are looking for brand exposure and want to engage someone who has an keen eye for a good story, a focus on substance, and the the skill to present that content in both written and visual mediums.
