What is the one thing you'd like to tell visitors to the Guild's website?

Having grown up with pilseners and pilseners and pilseners (Amstel, Heineken, Grolsch) I discovered something new in 1979 (at the age of 18): Duvel strong Belgian blond ale and Westmalle Trappist Ale in one of the few good beer pubs in The Netherlands those days: Jan Primus in the city of Utrecht. A life changing discovery. Started brewing my own beers in ’81 (and stopped after a bottle exploded) and started following all the exciting developments in the Dutch beer market (new breweries, brewing ales, not lagers). In 2013 the publishing company I work for bought a hospitality magazine, which gave me the oppurtunity to write about beers and breweries. In 2016 I started my own blog and I started the StiBON beer course (level 1), this year I will start level 2. My only problem is a lack of time to visit alle those good beer festivals, but tasting good beers is timeless. Love it. At the end of 2019 I’ll start brewing again, but this time with the MiniBrew. So, could you call it brewing, when the machine does all the work?
