What is the one thing you'd like to tell visitors to the Guild's website?

Hello, my name is Jacob Liddle. I’m the founder of Jiddler’s Tipple, a multi-award-winning craft beer business. I am a certified Beer Sommelier, BJCP Beer Judge and passionate foodie! I have judged at dozens of professional and homebrew beer competitions since 2018 including the World Beer Awards, Great Taste Awards, London Beer Competition, International Beer Competition and Great British Food Awards.

As a bit of further background, I’ve always loved experimenting in the kitchen, having started cooking at the age of 9. I fell in love with homebrewing in 2017 as it combines my science background (I did Mechanical Engineering at Uni) and my love of flavour, food and drink.  I launched Jiddlers Tipple in October 2019 and managed to quit my other job and go full time “beer baron” in February 2022.

I’ve always loved judging, trying different beers and testing and improving my sense of smell and taste.
