• I have been a football writer for 25 years, writing about Blackpool Football Club. I have had regular columns in the Blackpool Gazette, Blackpool FC match programme and Shoot – and have also written for FourFourTwo. In the 2000s, I edited 39 issues of the Blackpool fanzine Another View From The Tower. In 2019, I launched a brand new fanzine Now That’s What I Call Progress, which has been very well received.

What you can offer as a writer/beer lover?

I write about my beer adventures travelling around the country to pubs and beer festivals in my blog, which has 5,000 subscribers. I have written for Birmingham and Walsall CAMRA magazines. I was Branch Secretary for Birmingham CAMRA and will be standing for the same position at Blackpool Fylde & Wyre CAMRA at the forthcoming AGM. I seek joy everywhere I go and wish to present beer and pubs in a positive light.
