What is the one thing you'd like to tell visitors to the Guild's website?

PR, Communications and Events consultant with over 20 years experience in the drinks, hospitality and leisure sectors. Have worked for, and with, brands of all sizes offering expertise in print, broadcast, online and experiential comms, and have particular interest in the low-alcohol and alcohol-free category.

What you can offer as a writer/beer lover?

Enthusiastic PR consultant with great knowledge of beer and related issues, I can offer advice and help in gaining coverage for beer and pub related brands and services. I have significant experience in writing copy, image selection and placing stories in trade and consumer publications and online platforms. My skills have been expanded to include digital media with experience in writing for websites, search engine optimisation, social media community management and analysis.

What do you like most about being a Guild of Beer Writers member?

The friendships & business associations made with like-minded beer drinkers, aficionados and experts. Beer is undergoing a renaissance and there are now over 140 different styles and 12,000 different beers so there’s always something new to learn and something new to write about.  The British Guild of Beer Writers provides a great fellowship in which you can swap and expand ideas and opinions and share your enthusiasm and love of beer with fellow members as well as communicating with a wider audience.
