What is the one thing you'd like to tell visitors to the Guild's website?
I am passionate about beer! I enjoy writing about, talking about and, of course, drinking great tasting and great quality beer. I’m keen to share my passion, enthusiasm and experiences to help other people. A former CAMRA branch chairman (Leeds) and current Brewdog shareholder.
What you can offer as a writer/beer lover?
Passion – Beer is my passion, I love writing and talking about it. I am driven to continue learning about beer and I want to share my own experiences to help others.
Straight forward – Being a Yorkshire-man, I’m a straight forward guy and I want to share my experiences in a straight forward way.
Honesty – I want to be honest about how beer and beer-related experiences make me feel, to help people on their own beer journey.
Positive – I will always aim to focus on the positive, beer is something to be celebrated and enjoyed!
What do you like most about being a Guild of Beer Writers member?
The opportunity to share my knowledge and love for beer with others, which is intended to help them on their own beer journey.

This article was published on my blog recently and distributed to local Leeds media for publishing. Long overdue some love and attention, in 2017 the Cardigan Arms was bought by Kirkstall Brewery. The Cardigan Arms has been transformed into a must visit Leeds pub.
