What is the one thing you'd like to tell visitors to the Guild's website?
As an award-winning marketer and Marketing Manager at Brew York, I combine my passion for craft beer with industry expertise to tell compelling stories that celebrate the artistry, innovation, and community behind every pint. Through engaging and insightful content, I aim to connect brewers, pubs, and drinkers while inspiring curiosity and appreciation for the world of beer.
What you can offer as a writer/beer lover?
As a passionate beer enthusiast and experienced marketer, I bring a unique perspective to beer writing, blending industry insights with a deep appreciation for the craft. With nearly three years as Marketing Manager at Brew York, I’ve honed my skills in creating engaging content, from blog posts and social media campaigns to press releases and case studies, all celebrating the artistry and innovation of brewing.
I’ve also provided marketing support for Bricknell Brewery and Raven Hill Brewery, where I contributed to social media strategies, website content, and brand storytelling. My MSc in Advertising & Marketing from the University of Hull, where I explored the impact of Dark Social on craft beer purchasing, gives me a sharp understanding of consumer behavior and trends.
Through my writing, I aim to champion the diversity and creativity in beer, sharing stories that connect brewers, pubs, and drinkers while celebrating the culture and community of craft beer.
What do you like most about being a Guild of Beer Writers member?
Being a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers allows me to connect with a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for celebrating the craft, culture, and creativity of beer. I love exchanging ideas, learning from fellow writers, and contributing to the vibrant storytelling that supports and promotes the brewing industry.
