What is the one thing you'd like to tell visitors to the Guild's website?

Brewing for over 40 years, and a Master Brewer for more than 30. More than 200 commercial beers created. So far.

What you can offer as a writer/beer lover?

Assistant head brewer at Banks’s Brewery of Marston’s Beer Company. Entered the industry in 1975 at the late lamented Davenport’s Brewery in Birmingham, then joined the (then) Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries in 1984. Author of the Single Hop series of blogs and a long standing member of CAMRA, serving as a judge at numerous festivals including GBBF 2011 & 2015. Passionate about great beer of all persuasions and nations, but especially cask and Belgian ales. Not to mention hops.

What do you like most about being a Guild of Beer Writers member?

Spreading the word about great beer; and meeting others who do likewise.
