What is the one thing you'd like to tell visitors to the Guild's website?

I have spent 38 years working across all aspects of the commercial spectrum for some of the UK’s leading regional brewers.  I am an International Beer and Food judge, judging at World Beer Cup, GABF as well as judging in China, Brazil and around Europe.  I do consultancy work with many up-and-coming young breweries as well as the production side.  I have written for several trade publications and the Chinese Craft Beer magazine “ONE”

What you can offer as a writer/beer lover?

Having spent 30 years working for some of the best Regional Brewers in the UK, I am now in a position to pass on that experience to the smaller artisanal craft brewers. Whether it be in sales to export markets, on and off trade or putting together a strategy plan for the future development of your business. It could be about setting up a fully functional tasting panel or just good old fashioned common sense advice.

What do you like most about being a Guild of Beer Writers member?

The camaraderie of like minded individuals, the sharing of knowledge and constant learning.
