A Huge Pop-Up Tap Room Reopening In East London

The Brooklyn-inspired Brick Lane Tap Room will combine craft beers with NYC street food, provided in a socially-distanced setting.

After a successful launch in October, we are back! The Brick Lane Tap Room offers Londoners a socially-distanced drinking space to socialise, enjoy a selection of craft-beers and Brooklyn-inspired street food in the heart of East London.

Craft beers on tap will be provided by Brooklyn Brewery and Adnams, and visitors will be able to taste celebrated favourites delivered straight to their table including the Brooklyn Larger and Brooklyn Defender, as well as the Adnams Ghostship Pale Ale, Dry Hopper Lager, Ease Up IPA, and Bitburger. The venues food offering, décor, and music selection take inspiration from the streets of Brooklyn, with the menu featuring a selection of freshly-cooked small plates and NYC classics including the Williamsburger, the B.I.G Dog, authentic NYC style pizza and the vegan Flatbush falafel.

With the current restrictions lifting we believe purpose-built Covid-secure drinking spaces will play an increasingly important part in the fabric of the city as safe-spaces for Londoners to socialise. “We may be slightly crazy, opening in the middle of a pandemic, with all this uncertainty,” said Luca Pilato, founder of the Brick Lane Tap Room. “But bars are such a central part of how we socialise in this country, and we wanted to create the taproom to fulfil that need in a safe space that’s built for purpose. We believe that the response to ‘eat out to help out’ earlier in the year shows the public do feel comfortable going out and supporting the hospitality sector, and it’s our responsibility to ensure it’s safe for them to do so”.

Tables will be available to book shortly following government guidelines.
