A NEW ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE FOR BUTCOMBE BREWERY

Passengers arriving or departing at Bristol Airport will now be able to enjoy Rare Breed ale, the delicious brew developed through the partnership of the West Country’s fastest growing brewery, Butcombe and Cotswold farmer and TV presenter Adam Henson.

Guy Newell, Butcombe’s, Managing Director comments; “Rare Breed is a great beer both on draught and in bottle.  We are really pleased that travellers from all over the world can now have a taste of what’s best in our region, before even leaving the airport.”

Adam Henson said; “I have a passion for farming as Butcombe has for brewing and I have wanted to produce a beer sourcing local ingredients for a long time, so Rare Breed has been a perfect partnership. As Bristol is one of my local airports, I’m delighted that they’re championing local produce such as Rare Breed.”

The launch of Rare Breed coincides with the completion of a £150,000 refurbishment and development programme to enhance the comfort and ambience of the bars and catering facilities in Bristol Airport’s departure lounge.  A launch event was held at the airport on Friday 25th May 2012.
