Following blind tasting by 70 expert judges, ABK Hell has been awarded ‘World’s Best Lager up to 5% ABV’ at the prestigious IBC 2021.
In addition, the IBC awarded Gold Medals for ABK Pils Anno 1907 and ABK Edel Spezialbier.
The IBC Tasting Awards follow a rigorous judging process in a highly controlled setting of blind tastings by panels of more than 70 respected and experienced industry experts ranging from retailers, importers, publicans, brewers, writers and flavour analysts. The IBC takes great care in ensuring that all products are blind tasted impartially and this precise judging process is the basis of the reputation the IBC has established for rewarding quality and celebrating excellence.
Graham Higgins, CEO of ROKiT Drinks said “It’s always fantastic for our ABK Beers to win awards which recognise their superb quality and taste, but it’s extra special when we win major blind tasting competitions. Many congratulations must go to our Master Brewer Bernd Trick and his incredible team at our brewery in Kaufbeuren, Bavaria, where ABK Beer has been proudly produced for more than 700 years.”
