AHOY! Come On Board and Discover the London Craft Cruises for Christmas

The team behind the successful London Craft Beer Cruises have you covered for Christmas with their gift vouchers and the launch of even more Cruise experiences: the London Craft Gin Cruise and the London Craft Cider Cruise!

In the past 4 years, James Kellow – Beer Sommelier and Founder of the Craft Beer Cruise – and Sarah Hyde – Beer Sommelier & Operations Manager – have welcomed onboard thousands of happy cruisers and plan to convert even more in 2022 with their new Gin and Cider experiences.

From mid-May 2022, throughout the Summer season, until mid-October 2022, they’re planning a full schedule of events. A fantastic food menu will also be available across all the cruises, with the menu tailored around the drinks they are serving.

Sarah Hyde, Beer Sommelier & Operations Manager said – “As a Beer Sommelier, pairing the right food with the right drink is really important to me. We’re sourcing some of the best small plate produce we can from suppliers in neighbouring Borough Market and we’ll continue to provide a world-class cheese selection from Neals Yard Dairy.”

In their two new cruise offers, they’ve teamed up with some prestigious friends to make sure they’ll offer their guests an unforgettable experience.

James Kellow to add – “We’ve got Gabe Cook the Ciderologist and Sam Nightingale of Nightingale’s Cider to partner with us for the London Craft Cider Cruise and Simon Sharp of the Nautilus Smugglers Club for the London Craft Gin Cruise. They are all experts in their fields so I know we’re going to bring something really unique to London and our guests.”

The London Craft Gin Cruise: A Nautilus Voyage.

The cruise will run on select dates throughout 2022 and will feature around four different distilleries on each voyage.

Guests will discover historic gin styles such as Old Tom and London Dry, as well as newer versions of the classic spirit, which mix a wide range of fruits and botanicals to create interesting and unique flavour combinations.

Gin expert Simon Sharp runs a popular gin subscription service, the Nautilus Smuggler’s Club and tutored tasting events, where he tells the tale of gin, introducing different styles and their histories to his audience.

Simon said “London is at the epicentre of the history of gin. I can’t wait to share my tales of the origins of gin styles, whilst we sail past the places that are central to their story. We’ll also have some great modern gins onboard, from very small-batch producers. I can’t think of a better way to explore your love for gin, than on a cruise down the Thames!”

The London Craft Cider Cruise

As the market for Craft Cider continues to grow, the team is joined by two of the UK’s foremost cider experts on board to help craft an unforgettable experience for London’s cider lovers.

Gabe Cook aka The Ciderologist – An award-winning, global cider expert changing the way people think and drink cider. Gabe has worked in the global cider industry for 15 years and has written two books, including the newly released Modern British Cider. Gabe is also the resident cider expert on Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch!

Sam Nightingale of Nightingale Cider Company – Sam has been producing handcrafted and award-winning Kentish ciders and perries on his family-run farm since 2013. The Nightingale family have been growing fruit on this site since 1948. True to their heritage, Nightingale Cider is fruit-driven and made using slow wild fermentation and minimum intervention.
