Irreverent and unconventional, King’s Cross favourite The Megaro never fails to surprise. This summer it’s raising the bar still further with the launch of its very own lager.
Brewed exclusively for the hotel by the awardwinning and independent Portobello Brewery, this authentic Extra Pale Premium Pilsner Malt craft beer undergoes at least six weeks of cold fermentation in the tank before bottling.
The result is a classic German-style Pilsner that is both crisp and refreshing, with a delicious herbal complexity. It can be enjoyed throughout The Megaro, including the hotel’s celebrated bar, Hokus Pokus, where the exquisite creations and retro-futuristic steampunk vibe cast a spell over all who visit.
The lager also pairs beautifully with many of the dishes created by The Megaro’s Chef Patron, double Michelin Star winner Adam Simmonds, at the property’s much loved Italian restaurant, Spagnoletti.
