The Arran Brewery’s: Arran Blonde, Arran Dark both won awards at the International Beer Challenge 2013.

Export Marketing manager Veronica Michaluk said “ I am delighted to see Arran beers are at the forefront and being recognized at an international level for their quality, natural ingredients and being some of the best Ales in Scotland”.

The Arran Brewery will be offering its shares to members of the public later this year and this coupled with their recent listing by Sainsbury’s of a further four brands will do nothing but help their plans for growing the business on Arran.

To celebrate their wins the brewery is offering readers a free tasting of Arran Blonde, and Arran Dark . Simply take this article along to the Brewery on Arran for a free tasting of these two fine natural Arran made ales.

Notes to Editors:

The Arran Brewery is based on the picturesque Island of Arran of the West coast of Scotland. There is evidence of there being brewing on Arran for over 3,500 years so this brewery opened in 2000 is very new relatively. It has been operating under its current management since 2008. The company produces many award winning brands including Arran Blonde. Arran Brewery’s philosophy is to make excellent ales using only all grain, whole hops and natural ingredients.
