With the recent new ownership in place at Ascot Ales, exciting things are happening.
Firstly, a change of name to reflect a wider remit in terms of the real ales and craft beers Ascot offers now and in the future.
Ascot Brewing Company is our new name along with a fresh and sophisticated logo
We are excited to announce that John Willatts formerly Head Brewer at Binghams Brewery in Twyford has joined Ascot Brewing Company. John brings his extensive brewing capability, knowledge and passion to Ascot Brewing with the task of moving Ascot Brewing to the forefront of UK craft brewing.
John will assume day-to-day responsibility for the Brewery. The new owners Chris Davies and Mike Neame are delighted to see John join the Brewery at this very important time and see him as the springboard and inspiration to brewing beer with amazing flavours, aromas and tastes.
John is a hugely well-respected brewer having previously been responsible for brewing CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain Competition (CBOB) 2016. Now he has the chance to go on from here and brew ……….. The best beer in the world!!
