Asda To Capitalise on Dry January with New Alcohol-Free Beer Listing

With Dry January kicking off in the new year, national supermarket chain, Asda, is the latest in a string of multiples to increase its alcohol-free offer by stocking up on the world’s No.1 alcohol-free beer, St Peter’s Without Original.

From January, Asda will be selling Without Original in 67 of its stores nationwide, as consumers look for high quality and tasty alcohol-free alternatives to enjoy during Dry January and beyond.

Without Original is a rich, full-bodied and delicious craft beer that contains zero alcohol and at least 25% fewer calories than standard beer. It is made in just the same way as a normal beer, just without alcohol.

Comments Steve Magnall, CEO at St Peter’s Brewery. “Without Original has become an incredibly popular choice with beer drinkers looking to reduce their units but still enjoy a decent pint. Best of all, during a time like Dry January, when people are really seeking out alcohol-free alternatives, Without Original will now be even easier to buy.”

Since launching Without Original in July 2016, it has quickly become the world’s no.1 alcohol-free craft beer and accounts for a large proportion of St Peter’s overall sales. Steve continues, “This latest contract with Asda puts our alcohol-free beer sales at around 15% of our overall turnover and growing, it’s a huge part of our business and one we are looking to increase even further.”

St Peter’s Without Original is available from Asda, Tesco and The Co-op. For more information visit www.stpetersbrewery.co.uk
