Award-winning brewery partnership in full swing with golf club

Golfers at a Norfolk club are being treated to award-winning local beer thanks to a new partnership.

Woodforde’s Brewery has been named as the latest strategic partner of Royal Norwich, a prestigious country and golf club in the heart of Norfolk.

The partnership means the brewery’s range of popular products – including Wherry and Nelson’s Revenge, as well as their English Lager and Albion stout – will be served at the club on an exclusive basis.

James Ramm, Head of Sales at Woodforde’s, said: “There’s no better way to finish a round of golf than with a pint of award-winning beer.

“Both Woodforde’s and Royal Norwich are prime examples of the quality Norfolk has to offer – from drinks to country clubs.

“This is an incredibly exciting partnership for us and we look forward to what the future holds with Royal Norwich – a round or two of golf will certainly be on the cards.”

Using the finest ingredients, including locally sourced hops and barley, Woodforde’s range of beer has won numerous national and international awards.

John Kerr, CEO at Royal Norwich, said: “I am delighted to welcome Woodforde’s Brewery as a strategic partner of Royal Norwich. Building an exciting, sustainable local partnership that showcases a fantastic award-winning Norfolk brewery at our royal club is exactly what our community is all about.

“We are looking forward to working together moving forward and growing our partnership, introducing our members and guests to the best beer Norfolk has to offer.”

Royal Norwich has a small number of strategic partners including Porsche Centre Norwich and other local businesses.

Woodforde’s Brewery is located in Woodbastwick alongside its brewery tap and restaurant, the Fur and Feather, which offers its full range of beer and cyder.
