It’s the fourth year of London Beer City and we are diving head first into it. From Sunday 6th to Sunday 13th of August we will be showcasing all that is great and good in American beer, as the official London Beer City American Embassy. From classics to super-rarities, we will be pouring American beers all week long. We’re also hosting three awesome events throughout the week..
Sunday 6th August: Presenting Other Half
We are airfreighting kegs and cans of New York’s finest, and one of the world’s most acclaimed breweries, to start the week with a bang. Full details to be announced very soon, but expect some of the world’s best & freshest IPAs!
Thursday 10th August: The Anatomy Of Beer, Feat. Cloaking Device
To celebrate the launch of Brooklyn’s Cloaking Device, a rare and unique aged porter, we’re hosting an exclusive keg tasting. Come help us operate on Brooklyn Brewery’s very own corpse, removing a selection of offal-based dishes, prepared Yakitori style by Chef Andrew Clarke, and pair these with a taster of Cloaking Device to emphasise key flavours and characteristics of the beer itself.
Wednesday 9th August: London Beer (Boars) City Bottle Tasting
Beer Boars, an East London brewing club is launching a new monthly event during London Beer City. We’ll be giving you a chance to taste a selection of those 750ml bottles you’ve been keen to get stuck into. Tickets (available here) cost less than half of the price of some of these bottles, which include acclaimed American breweries like Prairie, Cigar City, and Jester King.
