The Barracuda Pub Group saw more than a six fold increase in sales of Bombardier yesterday as customers in their English pubs raised a pint to St George. Working with Wells and Young, brewers of Bombardier, Barracuda enticed customers to celebrate with a two for one offer on Bombardier throughout the day.
Richard Stringer, Operations Director for Barracuda said: “Every year our customers frequently tell us that they want to celebrate St George’s Day with as much gusto as St Patrick’s. With the support and awareness provided by Wells and Young to make Bombardier the drink of choice on St George’s Day, that’s fast becoming the case. In addition to giving our customers this great offer, many of our pubs embraced St George’s Day by dressing their pubs in flags and bunting to truly get into the spirit.”
