Back by popular demand, Bath Ales is today announcing the return of its much-loved winter porter.
Festivity (5% abv) is now available from the brewery shop and select pubs across the south west.
The limited-edition porter – available throughout November and December – has been a firm favourite with beer fans since it was first released in 2001 and has gone on to become one of Bath Ales’ fixed seasonal brews.
Warming and decadent, it’s the perfect remedy for dark, cold evenings and boasts chocolate, liqueur and sweet vanilla notes, with a coffee-like aroma.
Georgina Young, Bath Ales’ Head Brewer said: “Festivity is a wonderful old-style porter. Specially crafted with a variety of roasted and caramelised malts, it’s a rich, heady and complex beer ideally suited for the winter months. Perfect for the run up to Christmas, it’s best enjoyed in a cosy pub, next to a roaring fire. Catch it while you can!”
Festivity is available to select pubs across the south west from early November. Gift packs, 500ml bottles and micro-casks are also available to buy from Bath Ales’ brewery shop in Warmley and www.bathales.com/shop while stocks last.
