The awards are run in partnership with national drinks supplier, Matthew Clark. Justin Wylde, Category Manager – Beer, Cider and Soft Drinks at Matthew Clark, commented:  “We are pleased to support the Beer and Cider Marketing Awards with Boutique Beers for the third year running, this superb event showcases the best of beer and cider marketing and shares our passion and commitment to the sectors.  Marketing is not just billboards and hashtags. its creating experiences, educating and celebrating all that is good in beer to capture the imagination and reach new audiences”.

Beer Marketing Awards co-founder, Jo Miller said: “Having Matthew Clark on board again further reflects their commitment to the beer and cider category, and also wealth of expertise within their business when it comes to beer and cider. The team at Matthew Clark also share our enthusiasm for what some describe as the “anti-awards”, a fresh format that dispenses with black ties and stuffy three-course meals and instead replaced it with: great beer from our headline sponsors Boutique Beers by Matthew Clark; lots of time to network; great street food and cool DJ’s. If the past two years are anything to go by, they sold out quickly, so we expect a rush for places at the event”.

Adding: “Having been to many industry events, when we first set our vision for the evening itself back in 2015, our only mantra was to build ‘the type of awards ceremony we would actually really look forward to’.

Leading beer writer and co-founder of the Beer Marketing Awards, Pete Brown commented: “The awards are open to all, demonstrated by the breadth of winners from last year’s competition, ranging from Loch Ness Brewery to Heineken. So whether you’re a mainstream lager brand creating a large scale TV advertising campaign, a microbrewer pouring your creativity into social media, or a cider maker who’s tirn up the rulebook in pack design, the awards for everyone, at every level.”

A number of sponsors from last year have already committed ahead of the launch to support the 2017 event including: Them that Can, Pub18, Britain’s Beer Alliance – There’s A Beer For That, Fleet Street Communications and Vektor.
