Beer festival returns to Branscombe

A beer festival which has been running for more than 30 years is set to return to a Devon village this May bank holiday.

Despite a few years without the festival during and post-Covid, the Branscombe Beer Festival will be back and bigger than ever – and it’s being held at the Masons Arms, which has just been crowned Devon Pub and Bar of the Year in the National Pub & Bar Awards.

The three-day festival will feature beers from five breweries from across the South West with live music, a silent disco and food and games on offer at the St Austell Brewery owned pub.

David Putt, General Manager for the Masons Arms, said : We’re thrilled to be bringing back this iconic festival to the village. It’s always such a great atmosphere and really brings people together.

“There will be live music across three days and a silent disco on the Saturday night – music will be in four different locations across the pub, inside and out, so people get to experience all off the areas that we have.

“This will be a fabulous event to the unite community in a celebration of great South West beer in Devon’s best pub.”

Beers from Lyme Regis Brewery, Branscombe Brewery, Bath Ales, St Austell Brewery and Harbour Brewing will be on offer across the event which kicks off at 12pm on May 3rd – 6th.
