Beer lovers in South West in for a spark to their senses

A multi-award-winning Norfolk brewery is set to cause a spark in the South West – as it brings its delicious beers to a major supermarket chain.

Woodforde’s Brewery has signed a deal with Asda, which will see the brewery’s premium IPA, Volt, on the shelves of around 40 Asda stores such as Bristol, Plymouth and Torquay.

Volt uses the best American hops to boast a tropical, citrus taste to bring a real spark to people’s senses. The quality of the beer earned it a GOLD International Brewing and Cider Award.

CEO Joe Parks said: “Woodforde’s Brewery prides itself on great tasting beer made with only the finest ingredients by our passionate and skilled team.

“The South West is full of exceptional breweries and we’re very proud our name will be among them in Asda stores.

“We hope this partnership will increase our fantastic customer base, while also displaying the true quality Norfolk has to offer the rest of the country.”

Woodforde’s Brewery has an extensive range of popular beers, including Wherry amber ale and Nelson’s bitter, named after Norfolk’s son himself.

The brewery recently won big at the European Beer Challenge, with Nelson’s winning double gold and Wherry also receiving a gold medal.

Volt can now be purchased in ASDA, Waitrose, Booker and Co-Op stores, plus you can order directly from
