Beer Merchants: dates for your diary

Ales Tales

Ales Tales is the UK’s best dedicated Belgian beer festival, held at Oval Space in Hackney. It’s just the second time it’s happened so it’s still small but perfectly formed, with new breweries for 2018 including Alvinne, Blaugies and De Ranke plus the best from last year. There’s a trade session from 1-5pm on Friday 1st of June and you can apply for a free ticket by emailing Jonny@cavedirect.com.

Siphon & Verzet Takeover & Tasting

An evening tasting and meet the brewer with Belgium’s Verzet and Siphon – two of the most exciting new breweries in Belgium. Both make exciting twists on more traditional Belgian styles, from maple syrup dubbels (Verzet) to Orange & vanilla quads (Siphon) as well as some delicious hoppy numbers. If you fancy coming down, it’s 6-8pm at the Beer Merchants tap on Thursday 31st May – again apply by emailing jonny@cavedirect.com
