BeerBods and British Guild of Beer Writers team up for ‘Beer Writers Dozen’ Case

Online retailer BeerBods has teamed up with The British Guild of Beer Writers to launch the ‘Beer Writers Dozen case’. It sees twelve of the UK’s best beer writers each picking one of their favourite bottled beers. 5% of sales will go the British Guild of Beer Writers to help them continue their excellent work improving the standards of beer writing in the UK. Over 240 cases have already been sold, resulting in over £400 going to the Guild.

Matt Lane, founder and Managing Director of BeerBods said: “Many of the Guild’s members inspired my love of beer, so when I was welcomed as a member earlier this year, it was a proud moment. To celebrate I asked twelve of the UK’s best beer writers to choose one their favourite bottled British beers. The result is one of the best mixed-cases we’ve ever put together and it has gone down a storm already”.

Beers in the box include Gadds No. 3 by Ramsgate Brewery (suggested by Mark Dredge), Saltaire Brewery’s Black IPA, Kala (suggested by Sophie Atherton) and Richmond Rye by Kew Brewery.

The case is available to buy here… https://beerbods.co.uk/shop/the-beer-writers-dozen/.

It costs £36 (including P&P) with 5% of sales going to the British Guild of Beer Writers.

About BeerBods

Matt Lane launched BeerBods, the UK’s first beer subscription service, in his spare time in 2012. He had one simple aim; to get more people drinking better beer. They now have 4,000 subscribers to their beer club and another 20,000 member who buy beers from them on a less frequent basis. They are based on an old pig farm in Worcestershire.
