Birrificio Angelo Poretti unveils its UK-wide food festival tour with the ultimate Poretti Piazza experience, to introduce the British consumer to one of the only beers specifically created with food in mind. The UK tour kickstarted with Foodies Brighton Festival over the May Bank holiday weekend, and Poretti will be joining the Foodies Bristol Festival next from May 20th to 22nd. Customers can sit back, enjoy live music whilst tucking into delicious food from the festival alongside a cold glass of Birrificio Angelo Poretti.

New to the UK, Poretti’s larger-than-life presence at these festivals cements its position as a beer made to pair with food and establishing its rightful spot at dining tables. Off the back of its multi-million pound ‘Made For The Table’ ad campaign investment, consumers would undoubtedly be keen to try the beers, and there’s no better place than some of the biggest food festivals in the UK.

The food festivals welcome a stream of national, international and local food and drink brands serving a multitude of cuisines from Italian to Pan-Asian, and Poretti is excited to serve its beer alongside these incredible chefs, brands and artists at some of the biggest food & drink festivals in the UK. Imagine an unctuous bucatini cacio e pepe, a savoury pad thai or even a simple plate of chips, accompanied with an effervescent glass of Poretti lager for an idyllic summer meal with friends.

Founded in 1877 by Angelo Poretti in Valganna, a small town in the North of Italy, the brewery has been producing beers specifically to enhance dining moments for over 140 years. The lager delivers an exceptional taste experience as it contrasts, complements and cuts through various types of cuisines beautifully. The convivial atmosphere of Poretti Piazza will undoubtedly see festival goers gathered around a table, enjoying delicious meals paired impeccably with a cold glass of Poretti lager.

The Poretti Piazza airstream will be visiting Brighton, Bristol, London, Maidstone, Knutsford, Winchester, Yorkshire Dales, Edinburgh, Oxford, Norwich, Manchester, Birmingham and Hampshire. With beer pairing experiences and incredible dishes, Poretti is ready to own the beer garden space at food festivals this year with customers receiving the ultimate VIP experience. History and Tasting Notes of Poretti:
Birrificio Angelo Poretti was founded in 1877 by Angelo Poretti in Valganna, a small town 30 miles north of Milan, Italy – the brewery has been producing beers specifically to enhance dining moments for over 140 years. Its lager comprises a blend of four hops including Columbus and Zeus, which are known for their herbal and peppery notes and provide a full-flavoured taste. The resulting lager contrasts, complements and cuts through food beautifully. Recommended with all kinds of food from around the world, and of course with crowd-pleasing Italian favourites, Poretti is to be served tableside in a bespoke carafe made to retain aroma, effervescence and to encourage the sharing of beer at the dinner table. The brand is owned and distributed in the UK by Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company.
