Birrificio Angelo Poretti unveils its UK-wide food festival tour with the ultimate Poretti Piazza experience, to introduce the British consumer to one of the only beers specifically created with food in mind. The UK tour kickstarted with Foodies Brighton Festival over the May Bank holiday weekend, and Poretti will be joining the Foodies Bristol Festival next from May 20th to 22nd. Customers can sit back, enjoy live music whilst tucking into delicious food from the festival alongside a cold glass of Birrificio Angelo Poretti.
New to the UK, Poretti’s larger-than-life presence at these festivals cements its position as a beer made to pair with food and establishing its rightful spot at dining tables. Off the back of its multi-million pound ‘Made For The Table’ ad campaign investment, consumers would undoubtedly be keen to try the beers, and there’s no better place than some of the biggest food festivals in the UK.

Birrificio Angelo Poretti was founded in 1877 by Angelo Poretti in Valganna, a small town 30 miles north of Milan, Italy – the brewery has been producing beers specifically to enhance dining moments for over 140 years. Its lager comprises a blend of four hops including Columbus and Zeus, which are known for their herbal and peppery notes and provide a full-flavoured taste. The resulting lager contrasts, complements and cuts through food beautifully. Recommended with all kinds of food from around the world, and of course with crowd-pleasing Italian favourites, Poretti is to be served tableside in a bespoke carafe made to retain aroma, effervescence and to encourage the sharing of beer at the dinner table.
