On the 3rd and 4th of May, a brand new craft beer festival is taking place at Maidenhead United Football club in East Berkshire.
Arranged by two time SIBA UK Craft Beer Retailer of the year A Hoppy Place, in association with Maidenhead United and Berkshire Hospitality CIC, the beer festival will bring 50+ beers, plus independent cider and other drinks to festival goers near and far.
British Guild of Beer Writers member Dave Hayward, co-chair of the organising committee adds:
“We got the opportunity to use the football club for this event, just one corner away from our Maidenhead Craft Beer business and it was just too good to turn down. But rather than just stick a bit of beer on – we wanted to get a good number of brewers down in person to meet the public and have a good time over good beer.
This will be a dog friendly, family friendly festival in hopefully some May sunshine, with just 400 tickets per session meaning it’ll be intimate, with minimal queues and a good chance to work your way around the breweries pouring.
There will also be exclusive beers pouring at each session, from the likes of Emperor’s Brewery and Sinnister Brew Co – meaning it really will be an event to remember.”
The festival committee invites members of the licensed trade plus beer writers and the press to attend a session of their choice free of charge – reach out to Dave at dave@ahoppyplace.co.uk to secure your trade ticket.
