Brew//LDN – The Perfect Way to Celebrate a Successful Dry January

After a very tough 2021, and 28% of alcohol drinkers reporting an increase in their consumption, many people decided to start fresh and clean and try Dry Jan. This year, the number of adults participating in the initiative was 6% higher, with nearly 1 in 5 adults signing up. As February starts, a quarter of drinkers have been thinking about ways to improve their relationship with alcohol, aiming to have a more conscious consumption long-term. Whether you did dry January or not, it’s no secret that people are looking for different things to do rather than just meet in bars and pubs, and sink pints.

The Brew//LDN festival, the UK’s largest and most diverse craft beer festival, has the answer: quality, not quantity. “The Craft Beer culture is so strong in our country, and the diversity of types and flavours is so rich, so we need to know how to really appreciate it”, says Toby Chantrell, one of the four founders of the event. Yes, the “drink to get drunk” mindset seems to be outdated.

This year, Brew//LDN is back at Printworks, in London, on May 6th and 7th, with the sole mission to get people to have fun and enjoy quality beer, showcasing over 118 premium breweries of all kinds, including low-alcohol and alcohol-free brands. That time when beer festivals were not the right place for teetotalers is long gone.

If beer isn’t your thing, you can still take advantage of excellent cider producers and several other exhibitors with other craft spirits.

And it isn’t all about the beer: guests can grab a bite of premium street food brands like Nugs, Well Kneaded, Cheeky Burger, Da Fish Ting and more to be announced. To top off the experience, Secretsundaze, Mr. Redley, Esa, Sophie Lloyd, Gina Breeze and Luke Una take care of the music scene, completing the festival atmosphere, something we’ve all been missing.
