Brewer line up confirmed for Festival of Brewers 2018 – Leeds

Guild member Mike Hampshire, Founder and Beer Evangelist at Mike’s Tap Room LTD, Beer Sommelier and Cicerone in training, is the driving force behind a new ‘‘Festival of Brewers’ on 29-30 June 2018 at New Craven Hall, just South of Leeds City Centre.

The festival concept is to host an event shining a spotlight on smaller, independent craft breweries that are often overlooked at other festivals in favour of the more well-known craft breweries. These small breweries are brewing on small kit, and producing great tasting, quality beers.

The final brewery line-up is now confirmed.  All nine breweries are Yorkshire-based and will be hosting their own bars, selling cask and keg on draft. They will be bringing bottles and cans for drinking at the event, or to takeaway. The brewers themselves will also be on-hand, so a great opportunity to meet the people behind the beers.

Nomadic Beers Meanwood Brewery
EYES Brewing Quirky Ales
Wilde Child Brewing Co. Wishbone Brewery
Sunbeam Ales Crooked Brewing
Horsforth Brewery

This event is ticket only, and tickets are on sale now. General admission starts at £6 plus £1 booking fee, and there’s also a limited number of exclusive tickets for a tutored tasting of beers, on each day, hosted by Mike.  All ticket information can be found at https://festivalofbrewers.eventcube.io/.
