Brewery and Live Music line-up revealed for Scotland’s biggest craft beer festival

Indie Beer Scotland, 6th – 7th September 2024

Clyde Rooms @ Edmiston House, Glasgow

The wait is over for festival fans waiting to see who’ll be pouring or playing at Scotland’s biggest craft beer festival in two week’s time, with the full line-up of breweries and live music acts today revealed.

There will be award winning beer from the likes of Fyne Ales, Moonwake, Loch Lomond, Harviestoun, Stewart Brewing and many many more, plus Live music from the popular Have Mercy Las Vegas, James Gillies and Reely Jiggered along with a host of other superb acts.

The festival will feature over two hundred different Scottish cask and craft keg beers from 23 different breweries, as well as independent cider and spirits, plus live music from eight different acts across the three sessions.

Indie Beer Scotland takes place in Clyde Rooms at Edmiston House in Glasgow on the 6th & 7thSeptember 2024, and is organised by Scottish brewers from the not-for-profit trade association the Society of Independent Brewers and Associates. Now in it’s third year all ticket and beer prices have been frozen from 2023 for the 2024 event, making the award-winning pints some of the best value in the City. Festival organiser Fiona MacEachern, from Loch Lomond Brewery, says the event has found its home at the ‘superb’ Glasgow venue;

“We’re proud to be pouring Scotland’s best independent craft beers at Indie Beer Scotland and I think this year’s brewery list shows just how much quality Scotland has go to offer right now.” Fiona MacEachern, festival organiser.

Indie Beer Scotland is the country’s biggest beer festival showcasing solely Scottish beers and offers great value for money, with a large number of session beers including cask and craft keg available from just £4 a pint and all prices including tickets frozen at 2023 rates.

Indie Beer Scotland is also the home of the SIBA Scotland Independent Beer Awards 2024, with judging taking place to name Scotland’s very best beers prior to the festival opening to the public – making festival-goers the first to try Scotland’s Official best beers, with all this year’s winning beers available over the three sessions Friday to Saturday. Beers range from session strength lagers and pale ales of 4%, to barrel-aged imperial stouts and scotch ales which tip the scales at a punchy 10% abv or more.

Indie Beer Scotland runs from Friday the 6th until Saturday 7th September 2024, Clyde Rooms at Edmiston House, Glasgow. The event is sponsored by Kegstar.
