This week saw the craft beer pub company Brewhouse & Kitchen pick up the award for Best Brewing Pub Company at the prestigious Publican awards in London on Wednesday the 29th of March.
With 23 sites around the UK, including their most recent opening in Chelmsford, Essex, each having a microbrewery in pride of place within the brewpub, along with a resident brewer, brewing a range of unique beers specifically for their brewpub, and most recently the addition of a 3rd seasonal line to complement their core keg and cask beers helping to keep the choice fresh and interesting, it was great for B&K to be recognised not only as a company who operates a successful pub estate, but a successful brewery too.
Brewhouse & Kitchen CEO Kris Gumbrell commented:
“I’m so incredibly proud, after 10 incredible years, 23 amazing brewpubs, the hard work of 480 awesome team members, we were awarded Best Brewing Pub Company at this year’s Publican’s awards. This is testament to the quality of freshly-brewed beers our brewers are producing, and that our guests are demanding, and the passion and knowledge that our team demonstrate, allowing us to stand out as an ‘award-winning’ independent craft beer pub group!
