The Admiralty, Fuller’s flagship pub on Trafalgar Square, is playing host to two giants of the brewing world this Friday [4 October] when former Fuller’s Head Brewer, John Keeling, and current Head Brewer, Guy Stewart, will lead guests through a vertical Vintage Ale tasting.
Tickets cost just £15 and include a pint of London Pride on arrival, followed by the chance to sample five different Vintages – from the recently released 2024, to the best of the last 20 years. They are available via The Admiralty’s website.
The first Vintage Ale was launched in 1997 and each edition reflects that year’s harvest by using the best varieties of hops and barley from the crop. The result is a wonderful, 8.5% bottled conditioned beer that matures over time and is a delight on the palate.
The event on Friday 4 October starts at 6.45pm and finishes at 9pm.
