Brighton beer lovers in for a treat with opening of the Cask Pub and Kitchen

The team behind what has been voted the 4th best bar in the world*, has secured its latest venue, this time in Brighton. The Cask Pub and Kitchen will open on March 23rd in Middle Street.

The venue will occupy the pub that has most recently been operated as The Spotted Dog and before that, The Hop Poles. New owner, Martin Hayes, who, as a part-time Brighton resident, is rightly proud to be bringing his brand to the city, said: “We’re really excited about opening-up in Brighton. We expect our unique offering with high quality imported beers, many exclusive to the venue, coupled with a great pub food, to appeal to Brighton’s free-thinking and inquisitive nature”. Adding: ”The Cask Pub and Kitchen is all about hand crafted food, beers, spirits and wines”.

Over the past two years, Martin and his team have established themselves as leading pub operators through their Cask Pub and Kitchen concept in London’s Pimlico, named The Publican’s Pub of the Year in 2011 and the Craft Beer Co. also in London, which opened last summer, quickly gaining recognition as the “4th best bar in the world”. It’s this experience that Martin hopes will make Cask a must visit for anyone interested in great beer and food.
