 The British Guild of Beer Writers have elected the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA)’s Neil Walker to their committee at their recent AGM.
Neil Walker, SIBA’s PR & Marketing Manager as well as a beer blogger and journalist, was previously Communications Manager for CAMRA and has many year’s proffessional experience in the industry. Also elected was freelance beer and drinks industry journalist Susanna Forbes.
British Guild of Beer Writers Chairman Tim Hampson welcomed the election of SIBA’s Neil Walker to its committee.
“I am sure Neil’s knowledge of the brewing industry and his passion for beer will add much to our plans to grow the Guild.
“We are dedicated to raising the standards of beer communication and I am sure we will benefit from his contributions and knowledge of the beer scene.” SIBA’s Communications & Membership Director Tony Jerome added, “Since taking Neil on SIBA has worked hard to increase its media profile for our members.
