Brixton Brewery launches its first ever four-packs in Sainsbury’s following the success of the brewery’s single can listings

The launch signals an exciting time for not just Brixton Brewery, but the entire craft industry

  • Brixton Brewery’s Atlantic American Pale Ale and Reliance Pale Ale are now available in four-packs
  • The four-packs are available across 250 Sainsbury’s stores in the UK
  • Brixton Brewery recently enjoyed both gold and silver awards at the International Beer Challenge 2021
  • There is growing demand for four-packs across the category as 4x 330ml craft cans now make up 34.4% of all craft value sales

Brixton Brewery are excited to announce the launch of four-packs of their Atlantic American Pale Ale and Reliance Pale Ale in 250 Sainsbury’s stores nationwide, as a growing demand for four-packs signals a change in consumer behaviour when shopping craft.

The move to four-packs comes after Brixton Brewery enjoyed a successful launch of single cans in Sainsbury’s at the start of the year and is an exciting sign for the craft category as a whole.

The Atlantic American Pale Ale and Reliance Pale Ale are two of Brixton’s most popular craft choices – both of which have recently received recognition from the International Beer Challenge. As with all of Brixton beers, the Atlantic American Pale Ale and Reliance Pale Ale are refreshing and easy-drinking beers, making them real crowd pleasers ideal for taking along to a party or for stocking up your fridge to share with friends and family.

Four-packs are becoming an increasingly popular choice across the whole craft category as 4x 330ml craft cans now make up 34.4% of all craft value sales, illustrating a 10% growth year-on-year[1].

This rise in demand is an exciting time for the industry as it signals a shift in the way that people are shopping craft. Where craft was previously all about experimentation and trialling single cans from a variety of brands, consumers are now feeling more comfortable and familiar in the space and looking to purchase multipacks from trusted brands.

Jez Galaun, Co-Founder of Brixton Brewery, said “This launch is an exciting move for Brixton as we give our loyal base of drinkers a chance to grab some of their favourite beers in convenient new four-packs, perfect for enjoying socially over the festive period. The success of our launch in Sainsbury’s is just the start and signals an exciting time for the world of craft beer which we’re excited to keep pushing as we head into 2022.”

About Brixton Brewery:
Brixton Brewery was started in 2013 by two local couples who wanted to put Brixton on the map for great beer. They infuse the flavour of Brixton into everything they do, with beers named after local landmarks, inspired by the flavours of its markets, and packaged in colourful cans that reference the exuberant batik fabrics sold there. Their beers are bold, modern and perfectly balanced for easy-drinking.
