Guild member Cheryl Cade is delighted to have been accepted to become a training partner with The Academy of Cheese
This now means that she can combine her love of beer with her other passion of cheese. Cheryl said she has fellow Guild member Jonny Tyson (Advanced Cicerone) to thank for advising her to take the Academy’s level 1 course as a way to improve her beer and food matching and she has not looked back. The addition of this training partnership to her portfolio means that Cheryl can now offer the Academy’s Level 1 Cheese in Norfolk & Suffolk alongside her Beer training courses.
In addition to the certificated courses Cheryl has expanded her events to include cheese tastings and tours in her area ( https://cherylcade.com/cheese-events/). Although in the current climate hospitality and tourism are some of the hardest hit sectors Cheryl is hoping that her online events will help support UK producers until she is able to take people in person back on ‘Adventures in taste’ in the UK.
