Guild member Bill Simmons is currently in Beijing, judging at the China Craft Beer Awards. He was asked to accompany a small contingent of international judges at this year’s event. “Last years awards attracted 150 entrants .
Simmons said. “This year that number has more than doubled as China’s growing appetite for craft beer continues to develop.”
Bill joined judges from the US, Singapore, Scotland, Taiwan and Hong Kong at this years event, and was one of just five judges asked to judge the Beer of the Show Champion in the final round. He said “I am delighted and deeply honoured to have been invited to be one of the judging team”
