Community Pubs Month, April 2013

Approximately 8,000 pubs are expected to participate in the Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Community Pubs Month campaign in April 2013.

With 18 pubs closing every week, this national event encourages all British pubs to sign-up to the campaign and organise a number of events throughout the month to try and entice more trade.

Each pub will receive a free promotional pack and can use the Community Pubs Month website to market their events for free – www.communitypubsmonth.org.uk

CAMRA will also launch a number of national press stories in the w/c 25th March that will include new consumer pub research to help raise the profile of pub-going in Britain and the essential role pubs play in community life.

April’s campaign will be followed by three further campaigning months – Pubs & Charity (July 2013), Pubs Are For Life (October 2013) and Pubs: Support the Economy (January 2014).

Community Pubs Month Press Releases, issued w/c 25th March, will also appear on www.communitypubsmonth.org.uk
