Congratulations to David Jesudason who has been named Beer Writer of the Year at our British Guild of Beer Writers’ annual awards.
Taking place last night at Big Penny Social in London, we celebrated the best work from beer, pub and cider journalists, bloggers, broadcasters and all-around communicators.
David won the top award in the Best Communication about Pubs category, and his book, Desi Pubs: A guide to British-Indian Pubs, Food & Culture received gold for the Best Book about Beer or Pubs. He also picked up a silver award for Best Self-Published Beer Writing and was Highly Commended for the Guild’s awards for Best Communication about Diversity in Beer, and Best Commissioned Beer Writing.
