CRAVE announces new festival date for 2022

25th February 2021: Following the postponement of its two launch festivals this Spring due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, CRAVE, the hotly anticipated, conceptual food and drink festival is pleased to announce a new date for its first festival in 2022. CRAVE Midlands will be held within the grounds of Lamport Hall, Northampton, on 14th and 15thMay 2022.

The CRAVE festival concept has been conceived by event management group Marque II Media, whose ethos and vision is to create memorable lifestyle events, which bring communities together to celebrate their passions.

The inspiration for CRAVE as a new ‘destination’ food festival stems from a deep desire to create a diverse and immersive gastronomic experience for all ages, within the grounds of some of Britain’s most beautiful and exclusive country homes.

Marque II Media Executive Director Paul Mathers said “Due to the ongoing uncertainties around Covid, we made the very difficult decision to cancel CRAVE in 2021. Despite the successful roll-out of vaccinations, we cannot be certain that we will be able to run the event that we planned. Rather than run something “lesser” we believe it is in everyone’s best interests to cancel this year and start fresh in 2022.”

He continues “I’d like to thank all the new fans of CRAVE that have been converted over such a short period of time. It goes to show that great ideas will always find their audience, and that there is always room for something new, a different approach. We’re really looking forward to coming back stronger in 2022, with the announcement of CRAVE Midlands at Lamport Hall, with another second festival in progress, when we will hopefully be able to eat, drink and be merry together.”

The 2022 CRAVE festivals will feature the biggest culinary names and a plethora of diverse, gastronomic experiences that revel in the delight of food, from farm to fork, paddock to plate and everything in between: rearing and farming, making, tasting, eating, enjoying and sharing.

They will showcase the very best of locally grown, nurtured and created food and drink produce from a range of artisans, producers, chefs, restaurants, wineries, brewers and distillers from the experts and local talent alike.

Mathers concludes “Where there is a will, there’s a way and with all the great interest and support we’ve had for the CRAVE concept and philosophy from the public and exhibitors alike, we’re excited about what the future holds and determined to bring our vision to life”
