The deadline for entries for the National Home Brewing Awards, aimed at the UK’s best home brewers, is looming, with January 7th the last day beer will be accepted.
Specialist craft beer pub company, The Craft Beer Co. is behind the annual search to find the UK’s best home brewer offering the winner with the chance to brew their beer commercially with a leading UK Micro Brewer and walk away with a £5,000 cash prize.
Launched in 2013, the crown is currently held by Andy Parker from Fleet in Hampshire, who last year blew the judges away with his American Red and in doing so, scooped the £5,000 prize, which he has subsequently used to set up his own brewery.

The judges include a number of beer experts including award winning beer writer, Pete Brown, last year’s winner, Andy Parker and Richard Burhouse, MD of Magic Rock Brewing.

The winner will be announced at a ceremony at The Craft Beer Co. in London’s Clerkenwell on 31st Jan 2015.
