The British Guild of Beer Writers’ annual awards for writing are now open to entries until Friday, 7 September.
I’m sure the Awards need little introduction, but you may not be aware of the Thwaites Corporate Communications category. Introduced last year, this award aims to recognise the excellent work to promote beer and pubs which is produced by or on behalf of brewers and pub operators. Entries into this category include staff or customer magazines, internal or external websites, films, blogs or PR and promotional materials, and can be submitted by the brewer or pub company, or by the writer or marketing/PR agency working for them.
If your company has produced something about beer or pubs that you’re proud of, please consider entering it for this Award and achieving industry recognition for it, and for the team who produced it.
Details of how to enter can be found on the Guild’s website. http://beerguild.co.uk/?page_id=2162
