DRINKS MAVEN SET TO LAUNCH LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO DRINK BAD DRINKS

Drinks Maven, a new drinks website useful for anyone interested in excellent drinks is set to launch this Spring.
Founded by journalist, brewer, barfly and pub awards judge Jessica Mason, who has been writing for the drinks industry for almost a decade, Drinks Maven will focus on new, interesting and flavoursome drinks of high quality as well as the venues and retailers making them available to the public.
Drinks Maven Founder Jessica Mason said: “There are so many positive reasons to enjoy going out and trying new drinks. I believe that there has, however, been a dilution in the quality of what is often highlighted as truly good and that does not help anyone discern which drinks are worth their time or their money or a broader trade listing. Drinks Maven is for all people who have an interest in drinks – across softs, spirits, beers, ciders, wines and a whole host of others. It will be a site dedicated to discerning drinks selections and will be for anyone interested in not wasting their time sipping something without thought, care or regard. It will shine a light onto premium brands, exciting trends, drinks styles and serves as well as guide people to locations where they can try them.”
Jessica has changed her Twitter handle from @JessicaCMason – which she used in her former role as Drinks & Content Editor of The Publican’s Morning Advertiser – to @drinksmaven and can be found on Instagram @drinksmaven
Drinks news, trend information and event invitations, can be sent to Drinks Maven on: jessica@drinksmaven.com or by calling 0793 922 0485. Postal address for drinks, press releases, invitations and correspondence will be: Drinks Maven, The Hideout, 19 Queen’s Gardens, North Laine, Brighton, BN1 4AR
In Jessica’s time at the PMA, she spearheaded the positivity initiative #TryJanuary helping pubs, bars and restaurants to gain uplifts in takings across the UK during a month historically known for a lull in trading.
The Drinks Maven website will launch within the next month. Jessica Mason will also be available for freelance writing and consultancy projects via the above email address.
