Beer and women forum Dea Latis, is holding its first Scottish event at the Caledonian Brewery in Edinburgh on Wednesday 28 September.

The celebration of Scottish brewers will see beers from Innis & Gunn, Edinburgh Beer Factory, Stewart Brewing and hosts Caledonian, paired with Scottish food.

Dea Latis, named after the Celtic Goddess of beer, is an established group whose aim is to bring the joys of Britain’s favourite drink to more women.

Jo Dring, one of the founding members of the group says: “Whether you’re a beer connoisseur or still getting to grips with the huge number of different styles, our events are suitable for all!  We guarantee you’ll leave with inspiration for new types of beers to try and new friends.”

Complimentary tickets are available to journalists, contact jo@heineken.co.uk or ros@shielporter.com. Otherwise, tickets cost £20 and are available here.

Praised by Marie Claire and Grazia magazines, the group has hundreds of members across the UK and hosts regular beer tastings, usually with food. Cheese, chocolate and breakfast foods have been paired with great success at previous events.
