Enjoy a vegan beer from Shepherd Neame

Independent Kentish brewer Shepherd Neame is proud to announce that all of its keg, bottle and canned beers have been certified as vegan by the Vegetarian Society.

Vegetarian Society is a national charity, inspiring people to make the shift to vegetarian and vegan lifestyles since 1847. Its trademarks make shopping easier by allowing consumers to easily identify whether a product is vegetarian or vegan.

To gain accreditation, Vegetarian Society experts independently verify the ingredients and production methods to ensure products are 100% vegan.

All Shepherd Neame keg, bottle, can and mini keg beers that are Vegan Approved meet the following strict criteria: contains no animal-derived ingredients; measures in place to avoid cross-contamination during production; GMO-free and no animal testing carried out or commissioned.

Shepherd Neame’s Senior Brewer and Quality Manager Stewart Tricker said: “We are delighted that our beers have been recognised as Vegan Approved for a second year.

“This accreditation is a testament to our commitment to offering a diverse range of high quality beers suitable for everyone to enjoy across our pub estate.”
